Pilot Information
Eshott Airfield is an unlicensed airfield located nine miles north of Morpeth and is just a short hop from the stunning Northumberland coast. We're surrounded by a number of small villages and we have residential and business neighbours in our immediate vicinity.
Runways
Runway | Length (m) | Surface |

01/19 | 550 x 12 | Grass |
01/19 | 610 x 12 | Asphalt |
Circuit Information
Circuit height 1000ft QFE.
Join overhead at 1500ft and descend on the deadside to 1000ft before joining crosswind.
Airfield elevation 197ft AMSL.

Runway 19RH is generally preferred due to its length and to allow you a choice of tarmac or grass. This also allows for a circuit away from noise sensitive areas.. Pilots must be above 20ft at our boundary fences as the land is used by the public and our neighbours.

Noise Abatement
The airfield has a number of noise sensitive areas nearby. Please see SkyDemon for noise sensitive areas including Felton, the village to the north.

The airfield has a weight limit of 5700kg except in an emergency.

Community Relations
We're very conscious of our impact on our local community and we want to be a good neighbour. Aircraft arriving and departing must follow the airfield circuit patterns and respect the noise abatement areas.

Our Community Relations Policy describes the legal framework pilots (based here and visiting) must follow and our own procedures.
